Disney, Jones and Their Roles in the Psyches of American Animation

Abstract: Two of the most prominent animators of all time, Walt Disney and Chuck Jones, tapped into the psyche of American moviegoers of the 20th Century. Their approaches to their audience are comprehensively compared and contrasted in foci as well as human nature: Disney with an eye towards the bigger picture, and Jones with the little moments that make everything worthwhile. Each trait each artist gives his characters show in the animated examples given in this piece.

Lines and Their Gift of Personality

Abstract: I share insights about what really gives animated characters their personality. The basic makeup of a character or entity, or lines, comes with an underlying psychology into the character's future personality or spirit. My points are supported with character drawings and images from favorite animated productions.

By observing issues presently affecting the planet and employing driven initiative on multiple levels, we humans can oust the current “comfortable-yet-uncomfortable” situation humans are living in presently and make the world a better place through a collective reuniting effort.

Geoengineering: A Potential Rehab for Earth

Abstract: A relatively new class of alternative energy consumption solutions, called "Geoengineering," is introduced through research and testing in the everlasting debate about climate change. Despite abundance of solar and wind energy, efforts are mitigating climate change, but they are not making enough of a dent. Through a variety of methods, humans have the capacity to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels even more and cut down on the carbon footprint through creative alternate methods through geoengineering.
