GLIESE581 C

This planet resides around a red dwarf, where its temperatures are comparatively cooler than our sun. It orbits its star at a much shorter distance than Mercury does our sun. However, this is a potential for an earth-like planet, in that it has water and resides at a comfortable temperature medium for conditions to potentially sustain life.

This and Gliese581-d are in hot debate as to which could potentially be more habitable. However,

more recent research suggests it might be closer to Venus in likeness.
